For the last week of holidays, I wanted to stay somewhere that was all inclusive so that I did not have to cook or think about dishes. This is the world of the Sandos San Blas. We arrived to VIP service and beautiful rooms that face the seafront.
The apartment has a front entry way with tile flooring and two rooms. There is a spare bed for the children and a sofa that converts to a bedroom. The master suite has a walk in closet with plenty of room for the luggage. Both bathrooms have showers and tubs with lovely circle sinks. The rooms are massive and the minibar is well stocked. We have been surprised with a different food platter every day. Of course, there is the buffet with lots of options. So far, we are well pleased with the place but it isn't quite the Caracol. We still think that one is the best.
We have spent time loafing on the sunbeds, playing in the pool and spending time and money at the Spa. The girls had chocolate wraps with a massage, while the adults are allowed time on the water circuit and massages too. The masseuse broke several sulfur stones on my back so I don't know what that says about me, but it can't be good. The girls have done pony rides and played on the bouncy castle. There is a museum and walking trail attached to the hotel. The only downside really is that the planes do fly rather low overhead.
Nothing like relaxing in the sun. Now where is it?
We did try to go into Las Americas to go shopping but unfortunately my littlest seems to have a rather upset stomach at the moment. This means loafing in the rooms and playing with the sketchy internet. So off I go.
